The Blue Mountains west of Sydney are veiled in a mist of blue from the evaporation of eucalyptus from the dense forest of gum trees. This is the Jamieson Valley from Katoomba Falls Lookout, one of the many lookouts on tracks around the cliff face overlooking the valley. From the lookout from the left are Echo Point, the Three Sisters, Mount Solitary, the flat top mountain in the centre, and Orphan Rock to the right.
